Corrections Policy

NEWSLETTERFORXXY is committed to accuracy. When we make mistakes, we correct them promptly, transparently, and without attempting to conceal the original error.

1. Our Commitment

We believe that how a news organisation handles its mistakes is as important as the quality of its original reporting. NEWSLETTERFORXXY will always prioritise accuracy over the appearance of infallibility.

2. Types of Corrections

Factual corrections: Where a published article contains a verifiable factual error (wrong name, date, figure, or misattributed quote), we will correct the article and append a clearly labelled correction notice at the foot of the article stating what was wrong and what the correct information is.

Clarifications: Where an article was not factually wrong but was ambiguous or could be misread, we will add a clarification note.

Updates: Where new information materially changes the context of a story, we will update the article and note the update with a timestamp.

Retractions: In rare cases where an article is found to be substantially incorrect or was published in error, we will retract it entirely, replace the content with a retraction notice, and explain what went wrong.

3. Correction Notices

All correction notices will:

• Be clearly labelled "Correction," "Clarification," "Update," or "Retraction"
• State the date the correction was made
• Describe what was originally stated and what the correct information is
• Remain permanently attached to the article

We do not silently edit articles to remove errors without a corresponding notice.

4. How to Report an Error

If you believe an article on NEWSLETTERFORXXY contains a factual error, please contact our editorial team:

• Email: corrections@NEWSLETTERFORXXY.com
• Subject line: "Correction Request — [Article Title]"
• Include: the URL of the article, the specific error, and any supporting evidence

We aim to review all correction requests within 24 hours on business days. Complex cases may take longer.

5. Complaints Escalation

If you are not satisfied with our response to a correction request, you may escalate your complaint to our Editor-in-Chief at editor@NEWSLETTERFORXXY.com. If the matter remains unresolved, you may refer it to the relevant press standards body in your jurisdiction.

6. Archive Policy

Corrected and retracted articles are retained in our archive with their correction notices intact. We do not delete articles from the public record except in exceptional circumstances (e.g., legal requirement, serious harm to an individual).
